4. Zakat Eligibility
Our designation of certain programs as "Zakat-eligible" is based on our understanding of Islamic jurisprudence and the categories of Zakat recipients outlined in the Quran. However, the ultimate responsibility for ensuring your Zakat is properly allocated rests with the individual donor. We recommend consulting with a knowledgeable scholar if you have questions about Zakat eligibility.

While we strive to implement all programs as described on our website:

6. Fund Allocation
Qurbani Foundation maintains a 100% Zakat policy, meaning all Zakat funds go directly to eligible recipients. For other donations, while we make every effort to honor donor intent and allocate funds to specified programs, we reserve the right to redirect donations to similar programs or areas of greatest need if the designated program is fully funded, no longer active, or cannot be implemented as planned.
7. Donation Processing
Qurbani Foundation accepts donations through various methods including credit cards, debit cards, and other electronic payment methods. Please note:
- One-time donations are processed immediately upon submission
- Recurring monthly donations are charged on the same date each month
- All transactions are processed securely through our payment partners
- Tax receipts are issued for all eligible donations
8. Recurring Donations
For recurring (monthly) donations:
- You may cancel, increase, or decrease your recurring donation at any time
- Please provide at least 5 business days notice before your next scheduled payment to make changes

9. Refund Policy

- For time-sensitive donations (Qurbani, Ramadan, emergency relief), refunds may not be possible once distribution has begun
- If a tax receipt was issued, an amended receipt will be provided upon refund
